On September 29, 2024, the Vamanapuram Farmer Producer Company (FPC) conducted its Annual General Body Meeting (AGM), inaugurated by former Central Minister Shri V. Muraleedharan. His address emphasized the pivotal role of Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) in empowering farmers, enhancing productivity, and ensuring financial stability within the agricultural sector.
The AGM featured CEO Pramod P.’s presentation of the annual and financial reports, detailing the company’s progress, achievements, and financial status, and outlining its strategy for expanding farmer support, mechanization, and market access.
A significant aspect of the event was the recognition of farmer excellence, with Shri V. Muraleedharan presenting awards to outstanding farmers from each Panchayat within the Vamanapuram Block. These awards aimed to promote the adoption of modern agricultural practices and innovation.
